Members of Vitor Pereira’s squad took their first steps towards the 2025/26 Premier League campaign at Compton Park on Monday, as a new pre-season schedule began.
New signing Fer Lopez, sporting brand new SUDU training wear, was part of the first returning group of the summer, alongside his new teammates who were not in international action last month.
The group included Brazilian duo Joao Gomes and Andre, Toti and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, alongside the likes of Yerson Mosquera and Sasa Kalajdzic, who are returning from long-term injuries.
As is customary on day one of pre-season, Pereira’s players underwent vigorous testing in the treatment room and were put through their paces in the gym, before taking to the pitch for the first time since May.
The Old Gold’s senior international contingent are due to return later in the week, ahead of the club’s pre-season training camp in Portugal.
