The latest episode of Wolves Express is out now as the podcast looks into the story of Mark Crook, who formed Wolves' historic feeder club Wath Wanderers, and reflects back on Monday night's defeat to Manchester United.
Beginning with the reaction to the Premier League loss at Molineux on Monday night, hear from head coach Rob Edwards and defender Ladislav Krejci as the pair give their thoughts on the 4-1 loss to Man United.
Although he was pleased with the way his team were able to fight back level going into half-time, Edwards lamented the goals which Wolves 'gifted' to United and admits his players need to start showing signs of improvement.
While Krejci - who returned from injury to partner Andre in midfield due to Joao Gomes' suspension - felt there was a lack of confidence and quality in the Old Gold side which cost them against the Red Devils.
Ahead of the release of Ashley Ball and Chris Brook's brand new book which charts the history and success of Wolves' feeder club Wath Wanderers and its creator Mark Crook, which saw the likes of Ron Flowers, Roy Swinbourne, Gerry Taylor, Alan Sunderland and Steve Daley turn out in gold and black, Ball joins the podcast to talk more about 'Feeding the Wolves'.
Ball also reveals how the book came about, why Crook - despite only playing 78 times in gold and black - had such an impact on Wolves having scouted over 100 players who went on to play in the professional game, including more than 35 players who ended up at Molineux, while also giving a taste of his new book.
Released three times a week ā every Monday, Wednesday and Friday ā Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
