Academy Coach- 23 Month Fixed Term Contract via Coach Inclusion & Diversity Scheme

Here at Wolves, we are really excited to announce that in partnership with the Premier League, we are proudly supporting the Coach Inclusion & Diversity Scheme for the 2026/27 season.

We're offering a 23-month, full-time academy coaching role to the successful candidate to support the development of the next generation of football coaches.

The scheme is open to all, and we particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Mixed Heritage backgrounds, and women, as they are underrepresented groups amongst the coaching roles that exist across the professional game.

You’ll split your time between Academy coaching at our training ground in Compton and the Premier League’s accredited Coach Development Programme whereby you will gain experience across all the development phases and work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Your development journey will include:

  • Mentoring and bespoke support
  • Immersive learning experiences
  • Peer Learning
  • Access to FA/UEFA qualifications (based on development need and subject to availability)

On successful completion of all programme elements, you’ll be awarded a Diploma in Professional Football Coaching from Leeds Beckett University.

Local Academy Scout - 12 Month FTC

There has never been a more exciting time to work at Wolves. The Club is in the process of developing practices, strategies and teams to deliver success at the very highest level.  

The Local Academy Scout will predominately focus on players within the 6-14 age range covering games, fixtures and tournaments on a regional and school’s football.  

You will be responsible for the identification and recruitment of players that are of the required standard to progress within the Development Programme of Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C 
Academy.  

You will also be expected to carry out your duties in line with the scout’s code of conduct and the rules and regulations of the Premier League/ Football Association. 

This is a part-time role, working 10 hours per week across Saturday and Sunday.

An amazing opportunity has arisen to for talented football coaches to deliver on the Advanced Player Development Pathway at various locations for talented players identified within the Football Development programme.

An opportunity to deliver on our Football Development activities at one or more of our locations: Wolverhampton, Telford, Shrewsbury, Codsall, Newport, Cannock or Stafford and to support the international programme.

Turnstile operators are not expected to be involved with searching or ejecting spectators or dealing with conflict. Their role is specific, and they will be expected to call on a supervisor or specialist stewards for assistance in dealing with any incident at their turnstile.

Host Families Required

Wolves are seeking host families who can provide accommodation for Academy players aged 14-19 years. Our ideal Host family provision will be able to offer our young players a stable, safe and comfortable environment. We believe our players perform better on the pitch when they are settled and content at home.
