Tammi George
Bright and energetic midfielder Tammi George has enjoyed two stints at Wolves, joining for the first time at the age of 13 before moving to WSL side Tottenham Hotspur for 12 months and returning in the summer of 2021.
George gained valuable experienced playing with Spurs under-23s and even experienced first-team training, which heightened the excitement of old gold fans when the news of her return came about.
Quick on the ball and a real team player, George loves to get her name on the scoresheet.
George was a vital part of Wolves’ 2021/22 league winning campaign, a season in which she earned Player of the Season for her performances in midfield. This included some vital goals, including one in the Birmingham County Cup final against Black Country rivals West Brom to secure the trophy for the old gold.
In July 2025 she departed the club for Sheffield United in WSL 2, but returned in January 2026 to add another vital cog in the midfield as Dan McNamara's side hunt for promotion to the second tier.
