Amber Hughes

Exciting forward Amber Hughes has been at Wolves since the summer of 2021 and has certainly made her mark on the team, posing a threat in front of goal against any team she faces.

Hughes has previously played for Coventry and Nottingham Forest and her accolades include Manager and Player’s Player of the Season awards at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Hughes has also previously earned the Women’s Championship Player of the Month award and won the National League.

2025/26 was an outstanding campaign for the forward who won the Golden Boot alongside Burnley's Millie Ravening with 22 league goals - and she has now reached over 100 goals for Wolves in not many more appearances.

2026/27 will be her first season as a professional as she ended her career as a special needs teacher to commit her future to the Old Gold.
