With the dust now settled after a historic night in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last Friday, attention for Wolves Women now turn to league action once again with a trip to Derby County on Sunday afternoon.
Dan McNamara’s women make the trip to Mickleover to face the Rams for the first time this season looking to extend their winning run in all competitions to 15 matches.
Setting the Scene
Wolves recorded a 2-0 win over Stoke City live on TNT Sports in their last match, with their last league match being a last gasp 3-2 win over Loughborough Lightning at the SEAH Stadium.
Derby faced Stockport County in the FA Cup last time out, winning 4-1, but suffered a 2-0 reverse to title chasing Burnley at Turf Moor in their last league outing.
