Match Preview | Stoke City

Following another comprehensive seven goal haul on the road, Wolves Women return to the SEAH Stadium on Sunday as they welcome Stoke City.

Wolves remain unbeaten this season across all competitions and scored 19 goals in four matches in September.

Setting the Scene

Successive 7-1 away wins at Hull City and Wythenshawe in league and cup have set up the Old Gold to attack October, with the Potters the first challengers of the month to visit Telford.

Stoke, who were also in Wolves’ FA WNL Cup group, were 3-2 winners over Manchester United PGA last Sunday to secure second spot.

Last Time We Met

Wolves 2-1 Stoke City

It was only August when the sides last met in the opener of the FA WNL Cup. Wolves ran out 2-1 winners thanks to a stoppage time goal from Amber Hughes at the SEAH Stadium, after Charlotte Greengrass’ first half opener was cancelled out by Emilia Wilson.
