Behind the scenes of the Edwards return

The first two days of life back at Wolves for Rob Edwards have been documented in a behind-the-scenes production on the club’s official YouTube channel.

Edwards was confirmed as the club’s new head coach on Wednesday and supporters can now go behind the scenes of his first day back at Compton Park, and second day re-immersing himself in the club at Molineux.

From the moment Edwards arrived at the training ground, it’s all captured. Having signed on the dotted line, supporters can see the 42-year-old meet staff in the canteen, kit room, gym and treatment area, while familiarising himself with the facilities and pitches once more.

He also had the opportunity to meet some members of his new squad, including Yerson Mosquera, Dan Bentley, Sam Johnstone and Rodrigo Gomes.

Back at Molineux, Edwards’ tour began in the Wolves Foundation area and he worked his way through the offices, spending time in each one, before reaching the Molineux Megastore. The Wolves Museum was his next stop – the location for Edwards’ first interview as Wolves head coach.

Thursday afternoon also gave Edwards the opportunity to spend time with supporters at a Molineux Memories – a Foundation event aimed at those with dementia, and he stayed for a chat and posed for photographs.

His final stop was the Molineux home dressing room, providing an opportunity to reminisce on his playing and coaching days, before kitting himself out for that first photoshoot as Wolves head coach.
