For the second month running, Sam Johnstone has been nominated for the Coca Cola Save of the Month award.
The Wolves stopper has been nominated for the award following a stunning save to deny Brighton & Hove Albion’s Georginio Rutter on 5th October.
With the Old Gold leading at the time, Rutter’s effort was heading for the back of the net, but Johnstone’s reflexes allowed him to produce a stunning save to keep it out.
Johnstone, who was up for the September award following a brilliant stop at Tottenham Hotspur, is now competing with the likes of Dean Henderson and Guglielmo Vicario for the October honour.
