The Wolves medical team have provided an injury update on attacker Sasa Kalajdzic.
The Austrian suffered a knee injury while playing for Eintracht Frankfurt last Sunday and has since returned to the UK to begin his recovery.
Phil Hayward, head of high performance at Wolves, said: “Following his right knee injury on Sunday, Sasa today had surgery in London to repair his anterior cruciate ligament.
“The surgery went as planned, with the surgeon very pleased with the outcome. Sasa will now begin the rehabilitation process under the guidance of the medical team at Wolves.
“Everyone at Wolves wishes Sasa well and has full confidence that he will return even stronger from this setback.”
