The Wolves Academy graduates were promoted to the first-team under previous manager Bruno Lage and have been utilised regularly by Steve Davis during his time in temporary change of the side, and although they will be doing everything possible to impress the new boss once he officially starts his role on Monday, the pair are fully focused on the visit of Arsenal to Molineux on Saturday afternoon in the final game before the Premier League takes a break for the World Cup.
On Lopetegui’s impending arrival
CC: “Everyone at the club is excited, but it won’t change what we’re doing right now. Obviously, we’re excited for him to come in and join his team, who are here already.
“But for now, our focus in on the Arsenal game before the World Cup break and doing everything we can to try and get the win.”
HB: “We know he’s a top manager. He’s coached one of the best teams in the world in Real Madrid and also the national team, so he has a really good career and experience back in Spain.
“That will be good for us, but like Chem said, we just have to focus on the Arsenal game, try to get the three points and then we will start afresh, with everyone together with the new manager. But we’ve just got to focus on the Arsenal game.”
A new chapter.

On turning the situation around
HB: “With the new manager, everything will change, hopefully for the better, and we can get the results that we want.
“We just have to keep working. But with the quality and the players we have, I’m 100 per cent sure the results will come.”
On facing the Gunners
CC: “We know where they are in the league and their form, but it’s the last game before the break, so I think we’ve got a good chance to give everything and see if we can get a result.”
HB: “We know they are top of the league, but we are working really hard and I think we have a very good chance to get something from that game.”
On dealing with Arsenal’s threat
HB: “If I play, I would play against Saka, and everyone knows how good he is, but like I said, if we play as a team, and everyone is together, then we don’t care about their good players.
“It’s just about us. If we play together, we have a good chance to win the game.”
CC: They’re all obviously great players. I think they’ve got a good balance in their team, from defence to attack, but that’s what is making them so dominant this season.
“I couldn’t really pick just one player as they have a great balance throughout their squad.”
