The Portuguese international’s side have fallen to two defeats from their games so far against Watford this season, with the most recent coming in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley earlier this month.
But Moutinho said that although his teammates will be wary of the threat their opposition pose this weekend, Wolves will want to impose their own game at Vicarage Road.
On motivation from semi-final defeat
“We need to have the motivation because we’re going to play against a very good team. They already showed here at our stadium how well they can play and at Wembley, when they can back from 2-0 to win the game, we need to be prepared for what they can do.
“At the same time, we need to put our own game to them and have confidence in our game, our players, to do a great job and win the game.
“Of course, it will be a difficult game on Saturday, but we will try to win, like we do in all our games.
“There will be no thought of revenge. It’s a different game, it’s a different competition, but the same mentality – we want to win.”
On Watford preparations
“We might go back and watch the semi-final or use some images for training, but the game was a long time ago.
“At this time in the season, all the teams now each other very well and we know we need to improve a little bit more, show a little bit more, do a little bit more in the game, because all the teams know each other so well.”
On Arsenal victory
“We played very well and did a great job against a big team, with amazing support of our fans. That’s the most important, that’s what we want, to play against big teams and show what we can do.
“We know we need to win not only against the big teams, but Wednesday was an amazing day, a very good victory and we continue to do what we can to stay as high in the table as possible.
“We work a lot to get these results, but we need to improve against the rest of the teams in the league because we want to finish in seventh and will try our best to get that.”
