Fer Lopez has returned to Celta Vigo where he’ll spend the remainder of the 2025/26 season on loan.
The midfielder joined Wolves last summer from the La Liga side, but just two of his nine Premier League matches have been starts since then, so he returns to Spain in a bid to receive more game time.
The 21-year-old has made 12 appearances in all competitions, claiming an assist against Leeds United back in September, but has been an unused substitute in Wolves’ last four Premier League outings.
Lopez previously progressed through the Vigo academy, making his senior debut in October 2024 – one of 20 first-team matches he played for his local team before moving to Molineux.
Now he returns to a Vigo side who are seventh in La Liga and competing in this season’s Europa League, presenting opportunities for the youngster to develop further.
All at Wolves wish Fer the best of luck during his time back in north of Spain.
