Wolves Express | Hear from assistant head coach Paul Trollope

The latest exclusive Wolves Express interview comes courtesy of assistant head coach Paul Trollope, who speaks for the first time since joining the club.

Trollope joined Wolves in November, having played alongside Rob Edwards with Wales at the end of his career and then helped him guide Luton Town into Premier League previously, and speaks publicly as a member of his staff at Molineux for the first time.

The 53-year-old begins the podcast by describing the opportunity at Molineux as one he “couldn’t turn down” and he discusses the environment being created at Wolves and how things have turned since they first arrived before Christmas.

His own story is touched on too, having managed almost 300 matches as Bristol Rovers manager between 2005 and 2010, and also had a brief stint in the Cardiff City hotseat, but he reveals what it is about coaching he enjoys the most.

Touching on his fellow assistant head coaches, and the variety of experience and skills that they bring, Trollope covers the dynamic behind the scenes at Compton Park and how something is building which can be used for momentum next season.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
