Wolves Express | Women's first-team keep up winning streak

The latest episode of Wolves Express is out now with reflection on Sunday's third victory in succession for Wolves Women, while men's first-team stars meet some of the club's fans with dementia.

Dan McNamara's women's side maintained their place at the top of the FAWNL Northern Premier Division table with three points at home to Middlesbrough at the weekend, and goalscorer Beth Merrick gives her take on the match, which saw the winger notch a brace.

Listeners can hear from Merrick, who was delighted with her two goals to help put the pressure on Burnley - who are tied on points with Wolves at the standings summit - but she also expressed frustration that the side were not able to add to her opening 10-minute double, with goal difference expected to once again be the difference between the teams bidding for promotion into WSL2 this season.

Wolves Express also paid a visit to Molineux Memories on Wednesday afternoon, a Foundation group which supports Old Gold fans who suffer from dementia and provides somewhere they can meet up regularly and reminisce on their love of Wolves.

Today saw three men's first-team players, Hugo Bueno, Rodrigo Gomes and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, attend the session as they took part in a game of musical bingo, and Bueno speaks to the podcast about what it meant to him to attend the latest session and spend time with the fans.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
