Friday evening’s defeat to Manchester City - Wolves' first in eight Premier League matches - is the focus of the week’s first Wolves Express episode.
Head coach Vitor Pereira is up first, expressing his pride in his players and the Wolves fans despite seeing his team's historic winning run of six consecutive Premier League wins come to an end following Kevin De Bruyne's strike.
Despite the result Pereira was pleased with the way his players performed at the Etihad Stadium on Friday evening, and although his side were unable to get the outcome from the game he wanted, he was delighted with the spirit and commitment on display in Manchester, while also giving an update on the fitness of Jorgen Strand Larsen, as the Norwegian striker missed out on the match.
Captain Nelson Semedo also features on Monday's episode of the club's official quickfire podcast, as he also shares his pride in his teammates although acknowledging the players still have improvements to make and will take lessons from Friday night's game into the final three matches of the season.
Listeners can also hear from Matchday Live Extra's Andy Thompson and Mikey Burrows as the pair dissect the action from Friday night, as Thommo reiterated Pereira's thoughts of how the players, although disappointed with the result, can be proud of their display against a side pushing for Champions League football.
Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
