Wolves’ important Boxing Day victory over Manchester United at a lively Molineux is the theme of Friday’s episode of Wolves Express.
Vitor Pereira, Matt Doherty, Matheus Cunha, Lee Naylor and Andy Thompson all reflect on the 2-0 success, courtesy of goals from Cunha and Hee Chan Hwang.
Doherty, who once again played in the back three, was up first describing how the players wanted to win for the new head coach on his first taste of Boxing Day football and what it’s like playing against ten men.
Pereira labelled the win as the perfect Christmas gift on the podcast, and was pleased with the spirit on show, but reiterates that there’s a lot of work still to be done by the Old Gold.
