Wolves celebrated their partnership with official Korean streaming platform partner KOCOWA by welcoming them and Korean Culture Diplomats to Molineux recently.
The event marked the new partnership, allowing all parties the opportunity to connect and reflect on achievements thus far whilst looking ahead to future opportunities.
Representatives from both Wolves and KOCOWA strengthened ties and reinforced the shared values that underpin the relationship while bringing in the Director of the Korean Culture Centre UK, Dr. Seunghye Sun, as delegates to discuss exciting plans to bring new content to Old Gold South Korean supporters across the globe.
Russell Jones, Wolves general manager for commercial growth, said: “This visit is a fantastic example of an international partnership born out of a shared vision.
“KOCOWA is a valued member of the Wolves family and a key partner in supporting the club’s efforts to connect with our passionate Korean fanbase around the world.
“Together, we are opening new avenues through which we are able to share the excitement of Wolves, and KOCOWA.”
KunHee Park, CEO/CPO of KOCOWA said: “As we expand into the UK and Europe and into our partnership with the Wolves, we hope to build not only our relationship with the club and their passionate fans, but also introduce world class Korean content to their audiences.
“We were honoured to have Dr. Sun from the Korean Culture Centre come to support our partnership and join our visit to Molineux. We all enjoyed discussing cross-collaboration possibilities with Wolves, as Korean content and culture becomes more mainstream in these markets.”
Part of this collaboration will kick off this week with the addition of a KOCOWA Content Carousel curated specifically for fans to allow them to explore their hit shows and enjoy Wolves player Hee Chan Hwang’s appearances in several of their highly-rated Variety shows.
Through the KOCOWA platform, viewers can access over 40,000 hours of Korean content such as K-Dramas, variety shows, and K-Pop, including unique discounts and offers throughout the year for Wolves supporters.
Fans can access KOCOWA via web, iOS, Android, Google TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Samsung Smart TVs, LG Smart TVs, and Roku, and fans can choose between three membership plans, so you won’t ever have to miss your favourite shows.
