A hugely significant period in the life of Wolves’ Brazilian midfielder Joao Gomes is now available to watch as the latest documentary from Wolves Studios has been released.
‘Joao Gomes: The Pitbull’ covers start of the midfielder’s second year in England as he experienced becoming a father for the first time and a full Brazil international within a matter of weeks.
Wolves’ internal production house, Wolves Studios, who previously created Raul Jimenez: Code Red and Sasa Kalajzic: False Start, were granted exclusive access to Gomes’ home life, as the 23-year-old takes viewers behind the scenes of his coming of age in old gold.
In the 30-minute documentary, viewers can watch how he prepares for fatherhood, meet his dogs, and see what a typical day of work at Wolves is like for the Brazilian, who also discusses how much his life has changed having moved to England at a young age and what his upbringing in Rio De Janeiro was really like.
The Wolves Studio cameras are also on the international scene after capturing exclusive footage of Gomes during his first training session for the Brazil national team in March 2024, while discovering how he found out about his international call up.
Gomes also opens up about his speech impediment and how he overcame insecurities in his earlier life and gained determination to become an effective and expressive communicator.
Joao Gomes: The Pitbull is now available to watch on the Wolves App and the official Wolves YouTube channel.
