Wolves Express | Making it a Christmas to remember

Gary O'Neil reflects on the Christmas Eve win over Chelsea before looking ahead to this evening's Premier League clash with Brentford on the latest episode of Wolves Express.

The head coach was delighted with the way his players were able to perform against Chelsea at Molineux on Sunday afternoon as the team were able to provide the 30,000 Old Gold fans inside Molineux with an early Christmas present - especially with the illness that has been sweeping through the camp.

Match-winner against the Blues earlier this week, Matt Doherty, also features on the club's official bitesize podcast as he reflects on another three points at Molineux and the fortress the supporters have created in the Black Country this season.

Although the full-back was happy to have bounced back at the weekend, he is urging his teammates not to take their foot off the pedal ahead of tonight's game, admitting it's easier for players to get motivated for a home game with Chelsea than an away trip to Brentford.

O'Neil preview's tonight's clash with the Bees, who did not have a game at the weekend so will be fully fresh for the visit of Wolves, but the head coach gives an update on the fitness of his squad, as Craig Dawson had to be taken off during the second half.

Finally, Pablo Sarabia, who assisted Mario Lemina for Sunday's opener, has tried to explain why Wolves have struggled on their travels so far this season, having not won on the road for two months, but insists the players will be doing their all to change that this evening.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
