Player Biography
Yana Daniëls
Wolves Women completed the signing of Belgian forward Yana Daniëls, marking Dan McNamara’s third signature of the 2026 summer transfer window.
Daniëls, who has represented her country 45 times on the international stage, arrives with eight years of experience in the Women’s Super League with both Bristol City and Liverpool.
The 34-year-old followed former Liverpool boss Matt Beard to Burnley last season and was part of the side that lifted the FA Women’s National League title ahead of the Old Gold, alongside fellow new recruit Jas Matthews.
Daniëls’ career began at 16 in her native Belgium, playing for various clubs in the top division before crossing the Dutch border to join FC Twente. She moved back to her homeland to sign for Anderlecht, before her move to Bristol came in June 2017.
A player who can operate in a number of attacking positions, Daniëls adds to Wolves’ competitive squad ahead of a debut WSL 2 campaign in 2026/27.
Mane | 'We all want to get back to the Prem'
If last season was about making his breakthrough at Wolves, then Mateus Mane is determined to make the 2026/27 campaign one where he helps fire the team back to the top flight.
