After two consecutive home wins in WSL 2, Wolves Women are back on the road this weekend as they make the long trip to Colchester to face Ipswich Town.
As one of the fancied teams in the league this season, Ipswich will be another tough away test for Dan McNamara's side as they look to make it three wins in a row in WSL 2.
The Opposition
Still unbeaten after three league matches, the Tractor Girls have had a strong start in WSL 2, winning away at Leicester City in their last match after draws against Nottingham Forest and Southampton.

Boosted by the return of Gotham FC loanee Princess Ademiluyi from England under-20 World Cup duty, they have also recruited strongly over the summer including forward Mary McAteer, Chelsea's Jorja Fox and Scotland defender Emma Lawton.Ā
Now in their second season as WSL 2 club following promotion from tier three in 2025, Ipswich secured a respectable 9th placed finish in their debut campaign with a notable result 3-0 win away from home against eventual champions Birmingham City.Ā

The match takes place at Colchester United's Jobserve Community Stadium, where Ipswich averaged four figure crowds last season.
