Championship fixture changes confirmed for 2026

Wolves have seen six of their Championship matches moved for live TV broadcast between October and January as the latest round of fixture changes have been announced.

Just one of the five games moved due to being broadcast live by Sky Sports will be at Molineux, although Derby County’s visit to the Black Country will still take place on Tuesday 24th November but now kicks off 15 minutes later at 8pm.

The first of five away games to move for TV now sees the repeat of the Old Gold’s final match of last season – away to Burnley at Turf Moor – moved forward to Friday 16th October, 8pm kick-off.

A midweek visit to Bristol City will now be on the Wednesday evening (4th November), again kicking off at 8pm, while Wolves’ first competitive game away to Wrexham in 40 years is now a Saturday lunchtime start (12.30pm) on 7th November.

Following the Derby midweek match at Molineux, Cesar Peixoto’s side will travel to Sincil Bank for a first league meeting with Lincoln City since the 1986/87 season, with that game also moved forwards to 12.30pm on Saturday 28th November.

The visit to Lincoln is set to be shown on Sky Sports +, while the other five matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football.

None of Wolves’ six Championship matches in December have been selected by Sky, but the New Year’s Day visit to the Den to take on Millwall has been moved forwards to a 12.30pm kick-off.
