To mark Earth Day 2026, we’re sharing an update on the latest from Wolves’ ongoing sustainability programme, One Pack, One Planet.
Earth Day 2026’s theme is ‘Our Power, Our Planet’ – reflecting that environmental progress relies on our collective efforts. It’s sustained by daily actions of communities, educators, workers, and families protecting where they live and work.
Latest annual sustainability report published
Marking the third anniversary of One Pack, One Planet, Wolves published their latest annual environmental sustainability report. The report highlights the club’s progress throughout 2025 towards achieving its four environmental priorities of climate, waste, nature and culture – with one of the headline commitments updated to reflect an emerging focus on climate adaptation and resilience.

One Pack, One Planet focus fixtures
Following the publication of the annual sustainability report, Wolves hosted their dedicated One Pack, One Planet focus fixtures. The men’s first-team faced Bournemouth at Molineux at the end of January, before Wolves Women met Hull City Ladies at SEAH Stadium in February.
One Pack, One Planet messaging featured around Molineux on the big screen and LED perimeter boards, while matchday programmes highlight our sustainability achievements over the past year.
At Molineux, supporters were offered a 25% discount on some of the many plant-based food options in the concourses, and low-carbon menus we designed for guests in matchday hospitality.
One Pack, One Planet ambassador and women’s first-team player Merrick Will, as well as Wolves sustainability lead Thom Rawson, took part in interviews in the Fan Zone before the game as well as on the Wolves Express podcast.

The annual survey on fan travel was also launched, with supporters encouraged to travel sustainability to matches where possible.

Academy sustainability workshops
In March, Wolves Academy players took part in workshops exploring the relationship between football and climate change.
The sessions explored how climate change and sustainability impact football and society, giving players the chance to discuss environmental challenges, see examples from across the game, and imagine a more sustainable future for football.
Hosted by Football For Future, a non-profit driving global climate action through football culture, the workshops encourage players to think critically about their own actions and how they can contribute to change, developing football’s next generation of climate leaders.

Clean Air Champions League
Wolves Foundation’s head of programmes for education, employability and youth engagement Jonathan Warburton, and schools manager Richard Lewis travelled to Sofia in Bulgaria as part of the next stage of the Clean Air Champions League.
This important initiative, led by Irish club Bohemians and featuring not just Wolves, but ADO Den Haag from the Netherlands, Real Betis from Spain and the Bulgarian Football Union, is focused on tackling air pollution across the continent.
It includes the installation of air quality monitoring systems at the different venues, with the first one already up and running on the Stan Cullis Stand.
The March meeting saw representatives from the founding clubs get together to continue collaborating and looking ahead to the consultation process and educational workshops which form the next stage of the programme.
“It was a really good few days sharing ideas and experiences and looking ahead to the next stage of the programme,” said Jonny.
“We will be looking for fans and residents of the city to take part in the educational workshops and extensive consultation so it is very much a case of ‘watch this space’!
“The ‘live’ data from the air quality monitoring system is already showing some interesting results, and part of the consultation process is to decide where in the city we can fit a second monitor.”
Keep an eye on Foundation channels for how best to support this important initiative to improve air quality around our city.
