The wheels are now in motion for the 2026/27 campaign, with the Wolves squad returning to Compton Park for the first day of pre-season training.
It was Cesar Peixoto’s first opportunity to meet his squad, which was made up of players who didn’t feature at the World Cup.
Included in the group was new signing Keiran Trippier, and a series of returning loanees including Tommy Doyle, Fer Lopez and Marshall Munetsi.
Following Peixoto’s first meeting with his group, the players went through a series of medical tests in the gym and below is a selection of photos from day one at Compton.
