Wolves Fanzone at The Halls opens its doors this season, providing supporters with a new indoor matchday destination in the heart of Wolverhampton city centre.
Replacing the club’s former outdoor Fanzone, the new venue brings Wolves supporters together at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls before home fixtures, with former player appearances, live entertainment, food and drink all under one roof.
Entry is free, with no ticket required, and ahead of your first visit, here’s everything you need to know.
Where is Wolves Fanzone at The Halls?
Wolves Fanzone at The Halls is located inside the Wulfrun Hall at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls, North Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1RD.
The venue is in the heart of the city centre and approximately a 10-minute walk from Molineux, making it an ideal place to meet friends and enjoy the build-up before making the short journey to the stadium.
For those arriving into Wolverhampton by public transport, The Halls is also around a 10-minute walk from Wolverhampton railway and bus stations, through the city centre via Queen Street, Dudley Street and North Street.
When does it open?
Wolves Fanzone at The Halls will operate ahead of Wolves home fixtures throughout the 2026/27 season, with any room changes or schedule tweaks communicated through Wolves’ official channels ahead of each match. Doors will always open at least three hours before kick-off.
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early, particularly for the opening fixtures, while everyone becomes familiar with the new venue and its entry procedures.
Is it free to enter?
Yes. Wolves Fanzone at The Halls is completely free to enter and supporters do not need to book a ticket in advance.
Fans can simply turn up on the day and enter through The Halls’ normal security process.
The Fanzone will initially be open to Wolves supporters only.
What’s happening inside?
The ambition is to make Wolves Fanzone at The Halls somewhere supporters actively choose to spend their pre-match, rather than simply somewhere to pass through on the way to Molineux.
The programme will change from match to match, but supporters can expect a combination of:
Former Wolves players and special guests
Live interviews and Q&As
Live music and local performers
Wolves content and match build-up
Partner activations, competitions and activities
Plenty of space to meet friends, eat and drink before heading to Molineux
When the football schedule allows, the club also intends to show the early live game on the big screen, giving supporters the opportunity to watch the match together before heading to Molineux.
There are no early live fixtures to show during the opening Fanzone events, so live football will be introduced later in the season.
Full entertainment details will be announced ahead of individual fixtures.
What food and drink is available?
The Halls has permanent bars throughout the venue, with a dedicated Wolves Fanzone food and drink menu available on matchdays.
Draught alcoholic drinks are priced at £6.50 a pint, with Brooklyn IPA, Carlsberg Pilsner, Hobgoblin Session IPA, Poretti, Somersby and Somersby Blackberry available. Two-pint servings are priced at £12.50.
Low and no-alcohol options include 1664 0% at £4.90, Brooklyn SFX Lager at £5.40 and Thatchers 0% at £5.60.
Soft drinks include Pepsi, Pepsi Max and lemonade at £3.40, J2O at £3.95 and Cano Water at £2.65.
Supporters looking for something to eat can choose from chicken and mushroom, steak, or cheese and leek pies, all priced at £5, while chips are £3.50.
A special pie, chips and pint deal is available for £12.50, representing a £2.50 saving compared with purchasing the three items separately.
The venue is cashless, so all purchases should be made by card or contactless payment. The Halls also operates Challenge 25, so anyone who looks under 25 should bring acceptable identification if they intend to purchase alcohol.
Can I bring food or drink with me?
No external food or drink can be taken into The Halls, except where required for a medical condition.
Supporters should therefore finish any food and drink before entering, with food, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and snacks available to purchase once inside.
What security checks will there be?
As an established live entertainment venue, The Halls operates security procedures for everyone entering the building.
Searching is a condition of entry and all visitors will pass through the venue’s intelligent security screening system.
Supporters can keep coats and permitted bags with them and do not normally need to empty their pockets unless instructed by the security team. Some visitors may be asked to undergo an additional search.
Regular security patrols also take place in and around The Halls, with venue staff trained to identify and report suspicious behaviour. The venue works closely with West Midlands Police and Project Servator as part of its security procedures.
Can I bring a bag?
Supporters are encouraged to avoid bringing a bag where possible.
If you do need one, only one bag per person is permitted and it must be no larger than A4 size (297mm x 210mm x 210mm).
All people and bags are subject to search on entry, so travelling light will help everyone get into the Fanzone as quickly as possible.
What can’t I bring inside?
A number of items are prohibited under The Halls’ standard venue policy.
These include external food and drink, glass, large umbrellas, professional cameras, GoPros, selfie sticks, glow sticks, flags, inflatables, perfumes and aerosols, signs or banners larger than A4, bags larger than A4, laptops and tablets, weapons and illegal substances.
Smoking and vaping are also strictly prohibited inside the venue.
Can I leave the Fanzone and come back?
Yes. Supporters attending Wolves Fanzone at The Halls will be able to leave and return during the event.
This is a specific arrangement for Wolves Fanzone events and differs from the standard no-readmission policy which supporters may be familiar with from concerts and other events at The Halls.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The Wulfrun Hall has step-free access to its ground-floor area, while an accessible entrance is available for supporters who require it.
The venue also has accessible toilet facilities, lift access and a Changing Places facility, and participates in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme.
Supporters with specific accessibility requirements can contact The Halls’ access team ahead of their visit.
What behaviour is expected?
Wolves Fanzone at The Halls is intended to provide a welcoming environment where supporters can enjoy the build-up to the game together.
Discrimination, harassment, offensive or abusive behaviour and other disruptive conduct will not be tolerated, and supporters are asked to treat fellow fans and venue staff with respect.
What happened to the old Fanzone?
The club’s former outdoor Fanzone will no longer operate, with Wolves Fanzone at The Halls becoming the club’s new official pre-match destination.
The previous Fanzone provided many enjoyable matchdays for supporters, but its open-air nature inevitably created challenges, particularly during the winter months and periods of poor weather.
Moving indoors allows Wolves to build on the best elements of the previous Fanzone while offering a significantly enhanced and more consistent experience throughout the season, with permanent bars and catering, seating, toilets, professional production facilities and, importantly, protection from the elements.
Most importantly, the move gives the club the opportunity to create something much more ambitious: a genuine pre-match destination in one of Wolverhampton’s most iconic venues and a space that supporters can make their own throughout the season.
